We plan to visit five or six other locations on the trip such as farms and businesses with interest similar to Irish developments, 

​

Photovoltaic panels, Low Emission Slurry, Biomethane sustainability in Irish Agriculture will be of interest.

Our recent trip to Denmark in 2023 was very successful and we wish to thank all our members who made the trip so enjoyable.

We have organised the study trip  with the present counsel under the direction and help of our president Tom Fallon and the committee. 

​

We plan to have our popular study tours abroad  back  to normal for the future having scaled back in recent years.

Our planned study tour to the USA for 2020 will be postponed to 2025 or possibly changed to a European destination. All decisions on travel as you can well understand is dependent on the course of Covid-19 and the safety of all our members and the public. 

​

Prior to the outbreak of Covid-19 the committee met regularly in central locations such as Horse & Jockey, Portlaoise or Tullamore to arrange and set up events for the upcoming year but since the restrictions all of this communication is being carried out by Email, Phone and Zoom meetings.
